Umweltinformatik aktuell 26, Marburg: Metropolis, 543-554<\/p>\n<h3>Kurzfassung<\/h3>\n<p>Der Beitrag erl\u00e4utert die Konzeption und Realisierung verschiedener Softwarekomponenten zur Optimierung der Stoff- und Abfallstr\u00f6me von und zwischen kleinen und mittleren Industriebetrieben im Rhein-Neckar-Raum. Es handelt sich um Ergebnisse eines Pilotprojektes des Bundesministeriums f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung (bmb+f) im Rahmen der F\u00f6rderinitiative &#8222;Modellprojekte f\u00fcr nachhaltiges Wirtschaften \u2013 Innovative Ans\u00e4tze zur St\u00e4rkung der regionalen \u00d6konomie.&#8220; Das Zusammenspiel der Softwarekomponenten erlaubt einerseits eine produkt- und prozessbasierte Analyse und Bilanzierung umwelt- und kostenrelevanter Faktoren und stellt andererseits eine Inter- bzw. Intranetbasierte Kommunikations- und Datentransferplattform zwischen den beteiligten Unternehmen, aber auch mit externen Akteuren (z.B.
