Kurzfassung<\/h3>\n

Der durch die Wiedervereinigung der beiden deutschen Staaten ausgel\u00f6ste politische, wirtschaftliche und soziale Wandel \u00fcbt einen nachhaltigen Einflu\u00df auf die Raumstruktur der neuen Bundesl\u00e4nder aus. In den St\u00e4dten und ihrem unmittelbaren Umland werden die Ver\u00e4nderungen am ehesten deutlich, da diese als \u00f6konomische und gesellschaftliche Zentren von Innovation und Diffusion fungieren. Die Fl\u00e4chennutzung eines Beispielraumes kann als Indikator dieses Wandels dienen, da dadurch Aufschl\u00fcsse \u00fcber die Neubewertung von Standorten innerhalb des Stadt-Umland-Systems m\u00f6glich sind.<\/p>\n
